New foods

Yesterday Bridgette and I went to the Taste of Madison. This was one of the cooler things I have been to in Madison. They close down the Capitol Square and have over 65 local restaurants offering a few of their menu items for you to try. Each item in $4 or less. Yesterday we tried the following items, Chicken Coconut Curry, Jerk Pork, Tequila Lime Shrimp, Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, and Lobster Eggrolls. I think I liked the curry and the pork the best. I would have liked to try more ethnic foods, but it’s Madison, most of the food was pretty typical like cheese curds and fries. Bridgette and I are planning to go to the Taste of Chicago next summer so there should be a wider variety of foods there. After we walked around State Street and did some shopping. My only regret was not bringing a camera.

I know, I’m not used to traveling with my camera all of the time. I still need to take a class to know how to use it well.
