I've had the pleasure of meeting a few of those nicknames! :D

Waffle Head works. Well done.
At work I've dubbed someone Swifty and a customer Mumbles. Nicknames seem to be much more common in our neck o' the woods rather than in my current pocket of England. But dammit, sometimes these nicknames cannot be avoided! ;)

Oh- I changed the theme- this one seems more springy and cheery. You can change it to whatever you want in the Dashboard area under Appearances. :)

We love our PVR (what they call them over here). I hardly watch any tv anyway and to go back to watching shows on 'their' time instead of what is convenient for me is something I'll do when my PVR is pried from my cold dead hands! :)

I agree! I think the worst gift I got was the license plate purse. WTF? That side of the family has no clue. I'll have to let you know what "thoughtful" present I get.

I love gift cards. And Amazon Wish Lists.

Yeah, presents from people who don't know you very well can be disastrous. Like the time Aaron and I got a Packers gift set that had a money clip (for all our money, of course) and a metal decoration enhanced beer mug. (For those who don't know either of us, we're not really big sports fans.)
One should not make assumptions with gift giving- that just brings the embarrassing truth to light that most people really don't know each other (or care).
Gift cards, ftw.

Congratulations on the move and I hope it goes well. I love reading your adventures and opinions. We're too far away from each other and this helps keep me feeling closer to the day to day stuff that I miss.
Happy Birthday, Technically Behaving!

Catch you on the other side of the move! Take pictures!!
